April raining bug fixes
New documentation, and fixes for subtle bugs.
April rain(ing bug fixes)
The weather has actually been very pleasant.
I've made a start at adding documentation to the website, and whilst doing that I've fixed a bunch of subtle, yet infuriating, bugs in the creator.
Documentation
I do try to make all areas of qplanner easy to use, but of course years and years of changes, and neglect in some areas, mean I know the software really well, and others just have to fumble around blindly.
This is unacceptable, and can make new people less likely to choose qplanner for an event, or even just help tweak a planner when some last minute changes need to happen.
So I've started adding documentation, currently focused on the creator.
You can access it here, or via the link on the home page.
It doesn't cover everything yet, but I hope somebody will find it useful.
There's a tutorial for a "My First Planner", another article that walks you through how the colours cascade when styling a planner, and a pretty important overview of how artist logos currently work.
Please let me know if there's anything you'd like me cover.
