Autumn Update 3
This creator update brings support for a plethora of new information.
Stage Info
Available from the context menu of a stage, or the Stages
section of the sidebar.
You can set a stage's info across all days, and specific days.
This information is not yet reflected outside of the creator.
Feedback is always welcomed.
Doors
Set the door times for each stage.
You don't need to fill in both the start and end time.
You can use stage closures should the stage close during the day, available from the context menu.
The door times are reflected on the planner, but are not interactive.
Stage Labels
Group stages by the area they're in, or whether they're indoors or not. Whatever makes sense to you and attendees.
Stages can use as many labels as you want.
I plan to let users uses labels to filter which stages they see.
Compère
If the stage has an initial, or all day, Compère, set it here. If this changes during the day then add a standalone stage info from the context menu at the correct time.
Age Restrictions
If you're hosting a multi venue event you may have different age restrictions per venue. If the age restrictions change during the day please add a standalone stage info from the context menu for that time.
Line-up only support
This feature forces the classic plain times view, and hides the stage times.
Which is useful when the line up and stage splits are out, but not the stage times.
The stage times are still visible in the creator, so this is only suitable for 3rd parties or event organisers using a premium protected planner.
Support for this underused feature was missing from the new website.
You can enable it for a planner in the options menu. Toggle Stage times have not been released yet
.
Bug fixes and improvements
- [preview] Fixed generating PDFs when previewing the planner as a web page (previewing the PDF directly was fine)
- [creator] Large planners (Events with more than 15 stages) will display just the first day initially in the editor. (Switch days in the bottom left)
- [creator] Added buttons open Stage Theme and Stage Info on the base theme/info for the first stage to the sidebar
What's coming next
I will start to implement the new stage info, event age restrictions, and signed performances on the website, and PDFs.
