Preview now uses the new website
When I originally released the new website view in June I had to leave some loose ends, previewing planners was one of them.
Previewing planners is an important way to confirm your planner looks how you expect, without having to save it constantly.
Click the Preview
button in the bottom left.
And you can set the preview style via the Options
dialog, at the bottom of the This planner
tab.
You'll see a Style
drop down, and another for the granularity.
The granularity is now ignored, as you can quickly change that on the preview web page.
Full
, Mini
, and Mobile
will now all display as the default planner view.
You can view the mobile view by resizing your browser.
Horizontal
currently falls back to the default planner view.
Classic
will show the classic view.
And PDF
will directly generate a PDF for the planner. Setting granularity to 5 minutes
will generate a colour PDF, and 15 minutes
is black and white.
I will tidy up the redundant options at a later date.
I do recommend using the preview mode/PDF output if you wish to take advantage of the creator for making a planner for your own personalised school schedule etc.
Collaborative artists
You can now access artist info on each collaborating artist.
When viewing an collaborative artist you will see a list of collaborators, which you can click on.
The artist info will update with information on that artist, if available.
Desktop users can directly open information on a collaborator by clicking them in the artist list, that is on the right hand column.
Improved amending planners
Changing a performance's artist, or adding a new performance, via the context menu (right click anywhere on a stage column) now lets you add a new artist directly from the search input.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Disabled pressing the back button to close popups on mobile (This wasn't working as intended, and polluted the navigation history)
- The left menu, on desktop, has a slightly different look
- [Creator] Fixed adjusting the first performance's time
- [Creator] Fixed adjusting times whilst viewing a single day
- [Creator] Fixed importing stage times without end times, and the end time column title being moved from the default position
What's coming next
I did say I'd work on weather in the last post, I haven't been enthused enough to do that yet.
I have a list of new things I'd like to support in the creator. Mostly just extra bits of event data that isn't currently supported.
